Why Moron Joe needs to be fired: Accusations that Obama has done "nothing" for New Orleans
Edited on Fri Oct-16-09 10:34 PM by zulchzulu
I know it's a tough thing for stooges like Moron Joe Scarboring and his little pouty Mika Mouse to get one of their assistants to learn about something called Google (no, Mika, it's not a new vodka) and perhaps see that these dipshits have nothing better to do than LIE.

Flash video: http://msnbcecn.vo.llnwd.net/e1/video/flash/n_mj_robinson_091016.flv

Here's the results of a 45-second Google session about the subject (note the Obama just visited Louisiana/New Orleans):

Obama may have not visited New Orleans as president -- though he says he will by year's end -- but in the first six months of his term, half his Cabinet has visited the Gulf Coast, with 19 senior administration officials making a total of 30 trips to the coast, 20 to Louisiana.

And so Zach Rosenburg, co-founder and CEO of the St. Bernard Project, which is helping homeowners rebuild their homes, said he recently found himself spending four or five hours with HUD Secretary Shaun Donovan discussing ways to expedite reconstruction efforts.

"There seems to be a sense of light and doing right that was not there before, " said Pam Dasheill, co-director of the Lower 9th Ward Center for Sustainable Engagement and Development. "For me there's a trust that's never been there before, a sense that somebody has our back."

In the view of Paul Rainwater, who as the executive director of the Louisiana Recovery Authority is the state's chief hurricane recovery adviser, the Obama administration has exhibited an understanding of something fundamental about Hurricane Katrina that the Bush administration never did: that this was not another disaster, but a catastrophe beyond "anything anybody's ever seen before."

"They appreciate that recovery is recovery and that it doesn't always fit into a nice, neat package of rules, it's a messy business, and it's tough, and if you really want people to come back you have to look at it in a different way, " he said.

Personally, I used to live in the French Quarter (and uptown) in New Orleans and worked for WWL-TV. We had real award-winning, Edward R. Murrow Award-toting journalists there... before Google. They would have been handed a pink slip (been fired) and told to shuck oysters if they were as sloppy as Moron Joe is.

Why the hell do people like this knucklehead jock get to act like they even have a boiled crawfish's chance in hell at acting intelligent... let alone honest? Is Moron Joe AS stupid as Glenn Beck? It's a friggin' photo finish as the finish line.

elected due to Bush's incompetence re: Katrina, and then he "insults our intelligence" by claiming he "can't just write a check" to help New Orleans, he spent an hour there, nearly doing s "fly-over," then went to San Francisco for a DNC fundraiser, not caring enough to make any other stops in Louisiana, Mississippi, etc. :eyes:

3. More to the point-- he needs to be ignored. Those shows are NOT...
news. Just opinions wrapped in enough fact to look like news.

There are a few on MSNBC and CNN that are actually news, but nobody talks about them. I wonder why...

(I rarely watch cable news, myself. TV time is often for other things and I can usually get more in one hour on PBS than the whole day of cable.)

6. How can that be? MSNBC is the EQUIVALENT "Liberal" version of FUX!!!
Don't you know that?!!!

See - 2 or 3 programs on for 2 or 3 hours IN THE MIDDLE OF LATE NIGHT is EQUIVALENT to 24/7/365 of constant REPUKE SPEW on FUX!!!

Stop pointing out ALL THE OTHER REPUKES on MSNBC!!!

5. The goal is to discredit & embarass the president, since they have nothing else on him
The RW is trying with all their might to find something truly negative hoping that it will stick.

I'll tell you this: going after Obama with Katrina related issues only reminds everyone of the horrific failures of the Bush* administration. The Bush* failures of grave consequences.
