Democratic ticket in Kansas still in flux as 2010 races loom
TOPEKA | Kansas Republicans are off and running for 2010 with organized campaigns for governor, U.S. Senate and statewide offices well under way. Even the campaign bumper stickers are printed.

Kansas Democrats? They’re still working out which names to put on the stickers.

As Democrats met Saturday in Wichita for an annual fall gathering, their party had not announced its candidates for top races.

Kathleen Sebelius’ leadership and fundraising skills have gone to Washington, and Democratic advances made in the last eight years are in jeopardy.
