In Missouri, Joe Wilson admits outburst was out of line

Congressman Joe Wilson -- yes, that Congressman Joe Wilson -- told a Springfield audience Saturday that he was "brought up civil."

On that score, he admitted his "You lie" shout at President Obama during his recent congressional address was inappropriate.

"It was brought up possibly the wrong way," Wilson said, drawing laughter from the crowd. Wilson was introduced by Congressman Roy Blunt, the U.S. Senate candidate.

"But the issue has been brought up," he said. "We need to watch them like a hawk."

2. Joe "the Lie" Wilson knows that if anyone on the Obama scratches their ass

he and his co-horts are watching like vultures (not hawks)......

So I'm not sure why he felt the need to mention that they should do,

4. That was worse than no apology. Getting his crowd to laugh at his

historic breach of protocol.

Incivility had nothing to do with it. If you think someone's lying, say so. Nothing wrong in that, and he knows it. But hurling that kind of accusation to the President of the United Sates or any other head of state worthy of the name is too pathetic to be even disgraceful. You have to have a value-system worthy of a human-being to be capable of being disgraced.

.... when I wrote a letter to him that night. I spoke as one Southerner to another saying he had ruined the decorum by the hallowed halls of Congress were known (hyberbole is fun!)
