PHOTO Eh, nice effigy.


An activist holds an effigy of U.S. President Barack Obama during a demonstration outside the United Nations Building in Bangkok, where talks on climate change are being held, September 30, 2009. The Bangkok talks, part of the U.N. Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), run to October 9 and aim to draft a long-term cooperative action to fight against global warming.


To be honest, when I saw the effigy first I thought the protestor was blaming the Irish Prime Minister for climate change, which I thought was harsh:
