What is wrong with men?
On both the left and right ... they seem to put their carnal needs above everything else. Like there is nothing more important than them being 'satisfied'.
A woman would NEVER do this - especially, given so much at stake.

Perhaps, I've cut men too much slack in the past .... and, it is time to advocate for women take over.

While I supported and worked for Obama ...maybe we'd have been better off if Hillary had won and laid claim to at least a bit of power for women who don't get waylaid by their primal instincts.

2. So lumping in all men together as being cheating cads is right?
There are tons of men who are good husbands and fathers who have never cheated on their wives. Perhaps is the combo of power, money, easy access to what they want. And there are plenty of women who are not great people either.

3. as a woman I have to ask - Why do you think *women* are better than men?
You seem to feel that women are somehow morally superior to men - and that somehow women can control their "carnal" needs while men can't.

49. Jan Schakowsky
According to Sibel Edmonds, she was seduced by a turkish agent who then blackmailed her.

The fact that women are less likely to screw up due to carnal mistakes doesn't make them somehow perfect.

Two words for those of you who are convincing yourselves that women are naturally more moral, responsible and intelligent and as a result should lead the country: Sarah Palin

Actually here is another two words: Michelle Bachmann

Michelle Malkin

Ann Coulter

Gretchen Carlson

Need I go on?

B)carnal needs are pretty basic human drives. Duh.

One cannot really criticize a lion for killing and eating meat. The nature of things is what it is. Now, our societal expectations are something different and often do not address what is natural. That leads to all kinds of disappointment.

Which is why we are not expected to 'kill the weaker amongst us' for our own needs/satisfaction. If you really believe what you wrote, I never want to meet you face to face.

To assume otherwise argues an inadequate understanding of human nature or hopeless naivete.

To be sure, women are vulnerable to slightly different "primal instincts" at the various stages of their lives than men are, but we are plenty likely to exercise poor judgment for many of the same reasons men are.

dogmatically,
Bright

I would say a troll is someone who is upset by two men so starts a thread asking what's wrong with all men. Then, a troll goes and starts more threads trying to play the victim because people rightfully called said troll out for the total insanity of troll's first post. Said troll then has three threads locked in minutes and comes back to the original thread to troll some more.

You're welcome.

John Edwards is smart, good looking, and rich. At one point he was a politician with a lot of power. This is no excuse, but men with these 'qualifications' have women waiting in line for them to give in to temptation. What he did was wrong, but it isn't criminal. He's just an ordinary cad.

I don't feel as disappointed in him as you do because I never really bought the John Edwards package. I liked what he had to say, but he was too slick for me and I didn't trust him.

61. Men
have been conditioned on a biological level over time to spread their seed far and wide.

Some men do resist this base programming and stay faithful, while others do not.

Wealthy men and men of power are likely faced with temptation more often than average fellows.

Different women aren't better, they're different.

The above is not an excuse. A man may choose to suppress these urges, and many often do.

Sometimes the "family values" sorts are more vulnerable to these things because they practice repression rather than suppression. They beat themselves up and direct self-loathing within for experiencing the urge towards another woman. Suppression is the same as repression except you don't twist the sexual urge up with guilt or self-hatred. Suppression would be being attracted to a female and experiencing that, yet not acting on it because you're in an exclusive relationship and you value your partner as well as said relationship.
