who finances Star Parker?

she was on Wash. Journal this a.m. talking trash about Obama and team re: black support.

she says many blacks don't support him and there where a number of black phone callers who did not support him.

or improving health care.

I've never heard her speak before and soon after she started I had to mute her or yell at the TV. I unmuted to hear the callers and listened to her for a moment or two as she replied before muting her again.

she is an evangelical and it is apparently evangelical blacks that think the way she does.

who finances this woman? evangelical white men? the C Street house members?

1. I don't know, but she hates abortion...
Though she admits to having four herself.

Probably the Heritage Foundation, or AEI.

2. I notice those black people that are in the Pig Party.
are normally small minded, seem to sell out their selves, and are frankly jealous of Pres. Obama. Whenever I think of black people not supporting the Pres, two pop instantly into my mind: that little cross-eyed freak who pops up all day on MSNBC, and Michael Steele (joke of the year).

3. Star Jones is an idiot--perhaps she should have had some of that fat
sucked out of her head as well.

5. I could have sworn they were the same person.
If they're not, then I'm an idiot and you're right.

7. Star Parker and Star Jones are not the same women
Two different "Stars."
Jones was on The View.
Parker is a conservative writer/spokesperson.

9. I think she was Star Jones Reynolds for awhile when she was married; now she's divorced. She's also
an Obama supporter.

11. Education time
Edited on Sat Sep-19-09 09:32 PM by AspenRose
Star Parker:

In 2007, Parker was a guest at the conservative Value Voters Summit.

Parker is the founder and president of the Coalition on Urban Renewal and Education. She is also a syndicated columnist for Scripps Howard News Service and the author of three books:

White Ghetto: How Middle Class America Reflects Inner City Decay (2006)
Uncle Sam's Plantation: How Big Government Enslaves America's Poor and What We Can Do About It (2003)
and
Pimps, Whores and Welfare Brats: From Welfare Cheat to Conservative Messenger (1998).

Parker is currently a speaker for the Clare Boothe Luce Policy Institute's college campus lecture program.

Star Parker will appear with Ex Alaska Governor Sarah Palin with the Alaska Family Council and Alaskans for Parental Rights to kick off a statewide signature drive to make teen abortions in Alaska illegal without parental consent.

(And yes, she's been on The View....co-hosting ONCE, in 2007.)

Star Jones:
(Before and after shots, in case people were unaware of her weight loss)

Attorney and former co-host of The View on ABC.

Jones was recruited by Court TV in 1991 as a commentator for the William Kennedy Smith rape trial, and spent several years as a legal correspondent for NBC's Today and NBC Nightly News.

She left NBC in 1994 to host her own court show Jones & Jury. Although the show was canceled after one year, Jones quickly was signed up as chief legal analyst on Inside Edition, where she was assigned to lead the coverage of the O.J. Simpson murder trial and was the only reporter to interview Simpson during his civil trial.

In 1997, Jones joined The View as a co-host, a role that increased her public exposure significantly. She was The View's first African-American co-host.

Jones has written two books. The first, "You Have to Stand for Something, or You'll Fall for Anything," is a collection of autobiographical essays published in 1998. In January 2006, Jones published her second book, "Shine: A Physical, Emotional, and Spiritual Journey to Finding Love," detailing changes she made to re-shape her life, including her marriage and dramatic weight loss.

(And she's on PETA's, American Atheists, and Barbara Walter's shitlists.)

Now, to answer the original question: I would guess Star's financing comes from various anti-abortion groups.
