Michelle Bachman having a conference call right now

Started at 8:10pm EST so I called. I entered the pin and then I got an operator asking me for a CC#. She's a Nigerian Email scam artist.

I was just stunned that my venture into her conference call was stopped at the door because I didn't give a credit card number. I was going to have some fun.

2. When I informed the operator that I was calling from my cell phone

and don't need a card of any sort, she told me, "this is not a toll free number, you need to pay," and disconnected me.

Maybe I'll just try to tie up the line then.

I thought this would get more attention that she's trying to harvest CC numbers. She should be called on this and laughed at that an advertised "free conference call" with her is actually a scam to make money.

It was advertised as a free conference call and I was geared up to have some fun and lure into saying/agreeing with some awful things that I hope would get out.

I emailed Keith and Rachel about this so I hope one of them will talk about her grifting.

This definitely sounds like a scam to me, but the scam may not be from her office.They probably outsourced the conference call overseas somewhere, and they are scamming while they are working. She is a republican after all. And if they don't give you a satisfactory answer as to why your credit card information was requested, I would report it to the House ethics committee. If you had a pin, there is absolutely zero reason for them to collect your credit card number.

I chose to immediately post it here and on some social networking sites, and then email Keith and Rachel. I'm hoping I'm not the only one that called and then emailed Keith/Rachel. I'll be watching tomorrow to see if anyone else did.
