The discussion today has shifted to if there will be a raising taxes on the middle class. Also regulation of these industries in the healthcare/insurance and financial sectors is no longer being discussed.

Push back, people.

1. People forget that the Bush tax cuts are expiring soon and won't be renewed.

4. That's a good place to start.
Now, how about an additional 3% surtax on them, to make up for their looting of the last decade?

9. For 1, not every wealthy person is bad. For 2, Obama campaigned on repealing the Bush tax cuts.
And letting them simply expire is the same end and way easier to make happen.

5. I say raise taxes on the rich....
... back to the levels they were during the Reagan era.

The millionaire media would have no answer to that.

"Because Reagan was the greatest President...." wasn't he?

7. Yep, seems we are all too easily distracted by talking about racism, Wilson, West, and
other completely distracting issues. Exactly what the repubs want and we give it to them.
