that Merkley has always been for strong public option. I said "yes, I know and am happy he supports that. I am merely putting myself on record as urging him to join with other senators in opposing this mess of a finance committee bill". He was very stoked to be taking my information.

say what he thinks about it. But he was diligent about writing down what I said. So that's good, anyway. At least they're not ignoring public option proponents.

Reform, real reform, will give the citizens a Public Option without any concerns the Health Insurance Industry may have. They will live, but I can not say the same for us out here.

A Public Option is the right thing to do, but the best thing to do is Single Payer. As it has been demonstrated all the other industrialized nations who have a single payer system...IT WORKS.

Stop letting corporation run our country and let the Government do what it is suppose to do; which is protect us from them."

33. AGAIN?? I'm Thinking It's Just NOT WORKING! Especially The ONES I

have to call all the time!!! For the most part I only get the "standard" thank you for taking time to call crap in return!! I'm not their type of person, and mostly it doesn't matter to them because they don't have much fear about getting re-elected!

Vern Buchanan got elected the FIRST time with about 10 or eleven law suits against him, he won by 360 votes! 18,500 got lost in the Bay or something, who knows? The second time he ran against the same person, and with even MORE lawsuits, he got elected with 63% of the votes! Then their's BILL Nelson, a DLC'er for sure and mostly a DINO, and ALSO Mel Martinez!

Nope, THEY don't care about ME or mine! I WILL call again... just so they can put my name down ONE MORE TIME!! Vern does do sort of a "robo call thingie" when he must need something! Otherwise, I'm less than a number to him!

I also added the ability of the gov't to negotiate the price of prescription drugs. It also helps to find out what bills your Senator/Rep has sponsored or authored and comment/add if necessary.

Personally I skipped the third part only because I know it will be a cold day in hell before Vitter or Scalise vote for a public option. And I've already snail mailed Landrieu about it. I'll lean on her more when the time comes.

This was my first time calling as well. Nobody will argue with you. All you do is ask the clerk to take a message, say your spiel, and thank the clerk.
