We need to pressure Obama!

The worst things the Republicans did when Bush was president was to stand with him 100% of the time. It allowed an incompetent man to implement incompetent policies that did terrible damage to our nation.

Obama is not incompetent, like Bush, but he is is weak. He does not seem capable of taking the battle to the Republicans. If he did as many liberals want, the Republicans would be back on their heels dealing with torture investigations and Wall Street brokers, who under threat of prison, were giving the Justice Department that names of Congresspeople who aided and abetted their schemes. In other words, the Republicans would not be on the offense. We would be.

Obama's heart and brain is in the right place, but he's not courageous. Given that, we have to push Obama to counterbalance the push from the right. Right now, the right is doing all the pushing, and Obama is moving in their direction.

I think we need a march on Washington demanding the public option so that Wall Street doesn't rip us off again.

I think a march is a good idea, as well as anything to rebut the lies of the right on a large scale, but I have to disagree strongly with your suppositions of his "weak" and "not courageous" character.
