Karma... Between the school speech dust up and the "yelling"
"liar" at the Presidents address to congress. (Following an earlier call in that speech to civility)momentum is moving our way.

Looking at polls, I am thinking that the looney right who had August to themselves to show their outrage and parade around with guns at a Presidential gathering, outright lying, and overreaction.. have solidified their 15%... but have lost even more ground with the independents again.

Polls always drop for a President after their honeymoon period in their first term.. It goes with the territory.

But it is a strange and quirky karma, that pulled the last few days together to show showcase the lunacy of the far right.

Karma my friends.. Karma

2. When the President was losing support among independants....
..... the GOP never GAINED support.

Until that time happens, the GOP is screwed.

9. And his PERSONAL popularity......
..... (as opposed to his job performance) .... never took a hit.

Personal popularity is what got Reagan reelected and, ultimately, it will why Barack Obama is reelected as well.

10. I wonder if the vacation had something to do with it
If people did not realize he was on vacation and didn't think he was doing anything.

Obama is always favored by exposure. People saw that speech last night and the polls go up. If he's not in front of them, they forget, but once he's there, he gains support.
