How about whether CBS Evening News is experiencing a surge in viewership?

1. I tried to record 60 minutes II last wednesday but according to my local cable tv 'menu', it wasn't available to be recorded. I was a tad miffed to find out that it was shown at the regular time......wonder why it wasn't on the menu.

2. I was just on the Drudge site, checking out this week's totally wierd Republican, Phil Parlock, when I noticed a Drudge article claiming that 60 minutes ratings are in the tank & it's all Dan Rather's fault (of course, if drudge had it, it must be true).

Every time I get tired of political bs and want to just quit, I see someone like Parlock, or DeLay, or Ashcroft, or Rove, and realize that these people really do want to take over my country and turn it into their own land of total wierdness and I just have to get back up and go back out there.

But damn, when do we get to the top of Mount Doom?

I hardly think I am the only one that sent an email to AP asking them to remove the offensive photo.

3. Did drudge show the poll ratings....the last one I saw was 60 min.

was #1.... I saw a article that 60min. has very low ratings in certain area's... I suspect these are where they did not show it...

last that i heard. no link available, still searching. every reference that I google says that his ratings are decreasing, but don't give the actual figures.

would have it's ratings going down.. does it? :shrug:

Just because people are talking about it, doesn't mean that people are watching it. How much talk was there about Mel Gibson's "The Passion of Christ" before anyone had actually seen it? Or CBS' movie "The Reagans"?

Also, the way Donahue was called low rated and Faux high rated. The numbers were clear: Donahue was leading in his time slot, but they had to add insult to injury. It's the old: "The media is liberal, therefore liberals don't watch nutin'"
