| My wife just asked...what about "alternative" medicine? |
 |
acupuncture
biofeedback
etc.
Will the plan address that?

 |
It's bullshit.
Single-Payer is the only thing that would work...

| 3. Medicine, is science, not religious belief. |
 |
Please inform your wife that science rules medicine, not her pet faith-based choices made of her own free will and not backed by scientific fact.

and why it works for so many people. http://www.wired.com/medtech/drugs/magazine/17-09/ff_pl... Medicine is an art and a science. It should be practiced as both in order to heal.

Eastern (Chinese) medicine has been around for about 5000 years Western medicine on the other hand has only really been around since the civil war.

| 7. For procedures proven by science, I believe my ins. co. covers some of those. |
 |
Chiropractic practice is one of those. Not regarded highly by "real" doctors, but my ins. co. will cover some things that have been proven to be beneficial therapy.
I think maybe some other alternative things MAY be covered. But the trick is...it must be provided by a certified "care provider."
Then, some ins. cos. don't exactly cover nutritional thingies and such, but offer discounts if you buy some of those things through them. I don't. It's too complicated to figure it all out.
