Obama can stand on his own, but whenever I see him and the Bill photographed together it just give me a sense of confidence and pride. I know some of these are just photos and there may be some lingering tensions from the election of 2008, but I am hopeful that Bill can share his wisdom with Barack and in time this develops into a true friendship.

I also get the same feeling when Clinton and Gore are photo'ed together as well as in shots of any combination of Bill, Barack, Michelle, Hillary, Gore, Biden and Carter. We do have a lot to be proud of with these guys.

3. I'll give ya a rec....even though I oppose the Clintons and their influence on the Dem party.

I also don't like knee-jerk hate directed at honest-heart posters like you.

You come from a place of earnestness and anyone who spends time here at DU should know that by now.

A lot of posters associate Clinton with the DLC and corporate interests ~ maybe during this healthcare fight, they don't get all fuzzy seeing the two together.

4. Many on DU disparage both as "DCL" and "centrists"
But these are the two that broke the apparently hegemony of the Republicans. Were it not for these two, we would now be a county that claims that we are a "Christian" country, where non believes would, at least, be sent to "education" camps, and where not much would be left of our Bill of Rights.

Thanks for the photos!

6. I just love to see Democrats.
Our leadership is youthful, energetic, open, and compassionate.

Theirs look constipated and sour. Ugly will out.

I do like Big Dawg surviving so well, though, after the bitter coup attempt on him. The best revenge is living well.
