3. This is the kind of momentum that the pollsters can't pick up on.
These kinds of numbers sort of fly under the radar and the polling doesn't reflect the groundswell out here on the ground for getting rid of Smirk.

4. Have you tried to google Indiana State Board of Elections
or something like that?

That might get you to the correct site, then look for a link to the New Voter Registration Stats (or something similar).

5. Yeah, I'm trying right now but not getting anywhere quick.
Thanks anyway. Indiana probably wants to hide all that kind of information. I swear this state is so backward! Ugh!

6. Checked this for California
They don't seem to have "new registered voter" stats, but I compared registration totals from Feb. 04 to Sept. 04. Of course lots of our voter reg effort happened before the special election last year and again before the primary. I'll check those totals another time.

In any case, here's what I found: Registration of Dems increased by 236,000 and of Repubs by 102,000. And almost 200,000 "Decline to State." Not sure where these people tend to fall.

I registered voters at a local County Fair today, we were swamped with people, including a lot of Hispanics who were registering to vote for the first time.

I encourage everyone to check their state election board websites to see the results, it's a great mood lifter...

Keep registering voters!
