1. Tears came to my eyes.
This is such an incredible few days.

At 7 PM Eastern that same web site will broadcast the memorial service live from the library, with so dignitaries speaking,Biden, Governor Patrick, Mayor Menino, etc.

2. That is my President and so is Al Gore too.
Everybody should see that video ..... what a class act.

God knows how much we lost not having Al and then John as President. At the very least Al would have stopped 9/11 &
John would not have sat on his ass as New Orleans went underwater.

Americans treated as adult citizens capable of hearing the truth about their nation and what has been done in their name........imagine that.

6. I live in Columbus OH and what I saw and heard in 2004 was wild.
Not a day goes by when I don't wish I had ripped "the caging list" from the republican operative
who was working w/ the precinct judge @ the poll I was watching for the Kerry campaign. I remember
calling the state HQ @ 5:00 PM and being told it was a national landslide for Kerry.

I became friends w/ some who worked in Kerry's office in D.C. and the stories about what a class act he was
are very special to me.

9. Most don't realize how impossible to reveal, discover the truth about Ohio and elsewhere.
Especially in the days after, and to this day.

We lost the guy I always wanted as President, and he serves us valiantly to this day.

12. Think of how that would have changed things
This was not about John Kerry, it was a solemn, quiet, prayerful honoring of Kennedy. For Kerry to have acted like anything other than one mourner out of many would have been wrong. I assume the people near him in line had been with him outside that moment before the casket. Then, I assume he did greet those who greeted him. (I would hope that he did not have to wait in line long as he looks like he is still not recovered from surgery.

14. He did outside
To do so inside would have taken the focus away from Sen. Kennedy and Family, and that he could not and I'm sure would not do out of respect for them. It was not about John, it was about Teddy.

11. Very moving. Did you see the video on the left side of Vicki and
family members walking the line greeting people? Unbelievable. That family is all class.

I watched the repose last night on C-SPAN for a couple of hours. There was no sound, but I was transfixed watching people quietly file by the casket to pay their respects. You could see the backs of 4 family members seated in chairs to the side of the casket; just sitting quietly with Uncle Teddy. They took turns -- 4 at a time -- sitting with him. It's just heartwrnching.

And they are still at it today, quietly sitting with him -- 4 at a time -- while others walk the line to greet people who have come to say goodbye.

Everyone could learn from the Kennedy's. Their dignity and class is unmatched. Jackie would be so proud.
