He is hitting HARD. Harder than I've ever heard before x 10.

Whoa.

Maybe CSPAN will have a copy you can see later.

It is hard-hitting. (See the thread "SPEECH ON NOW" for more specifics: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=132&topic_id=845078&mesg_id=845078 )

5. He's cooking with grease!
bam bam bam
he is banging out points like crazy, pointing out *'s failures and the disasters that are iraq and the war on terror. All stuff you've heard kerry say before but delivered in a boom boom one-two punch fashion.

He still steps on his applause (there is alot of it, alot of cheering, and alot of jeering at *).

THe speech is a little circular in that he he circles back to points he's already made, but that's probably useful. Tell 'em, tell 'em what you told 'em, and tell 'em again.

He's calling him OUT on the carpet and demanding he take action in a certain way.

15. You mean Bush will steal all his ideas?
No, I think that Kerry is giving a Campaign Speech.

What "The President" should do. President Kerry, namely.

18. Not to be...................
a fly in everyone's ointment here, but exactly how many people are going to see this speech in it's entirety? A late morning speech will be reduced to 10 seconds on the nightly news and all the great things in this speech will not be seen by a vast majority of voters.

Too bad, all those saying "Kerry has no plan, He's not forcefull enough, he doesn't stand for anything", will not see this.

19. It's signals the beginning of a new forceful approach by Kerry.
There will be other speeches, and he will be back on the road campaigning with this speech.

This was NOT the one and only time he'll give this speech.
