Dang it Its not Chess
Its poker that's the proper analogy. Obama plays POKER which drives us nuts because you can't reveal your hand and are constantly playing head games with everyone at the table.

Just my two cents.

2. He doesn't put all his cards
out on the table and holds them close to his vest..that's for sure. He has to in this toxic mediawhore+corporatewhore environment.

5. Of course, if it goes badly you will be back to post how you were wrong?
Right? Why not just dispense with the poker/chess analogies until it actually happens? It might make humble pie easier to swallow if this goes south.

hardly a prediction of any sort.

I think you're reading too much into my post.

9. The analogy has a clear inference, doesn't it?
I'll judge by results, not by analogies.

10. No it doesn't
Poker is about luck (a good bit of skill but mostly luck). No one knows what cards you have until the end that's kind of my point. I don't know whats going to happen and neither do any of the other prophets around here.

8. To be fair, you usually don't show your cards if the opponent has nothing.
He folds. Like the Rethugs must if they want to be reelected. Time will tell...
