I just wanted to say thank you to her. No one has had the president's back more than Speaker Pelosi this year, no one has done more to advance the president's agenda, and no one has done more to help President Obama fulfill his promises to the people. She and her house colleagues are fighting even now for the public option in health care even as those corrupt senate bastards try to kill it. I am so furious at the senate right now. They truly are a historic team, the first female speaker and the first african american president.

I thank her, Majority Leade Hoyer and the house dem caucus for their hard work and for holding true to our principles.

1. I don't know much about Hoyer, but I've dubbed myself a Pelosi fanatic, alongside Tweety fan.

Most here have been ready to rip her to shreds or just dislike her almost to the point of Glen Beck style sometimes (of course that's a bit crass---but seriously I've read some serious hate for her). I on the other hand love the lady and I agree that she has always had the President's style and her defense of him has never wavered. She's seems to be a total fangirl for Obama which is totally appreciated and she has more control on the House than Reid could ever have in the Senate. Plus she tends to be more diligent about talking points than anyone else in respect to our causes. She's definitely one of the most supportive and I like that you posted an appreciation, she doesn't get much here.

Since Obama took power, she's been much better. The two years that she was in charge while Bush was in office were not so hot.
