.... Obama, Daschle, and Baucus shut up the single-payer advocates (or as Obama calls us, "little single payer advocates" and "bleeding heart liberals").

Now, GOP thugs are shutting down their kabuki-theater roadshow, with the kind of recurrent scumbaggery that made some of us ill when that post-partisan Kumbaya crap was crammed down our throats all last year.

So, I assume my marching orders are to be upset only at the the Republican scumbags, and not at my heroic elected Democrats whose fake transparency even censors Obama's own doctor, lest a "liberal" plan get so much as due consideration.

Is this a great democracy, or what?

1. Yes and no.

I agree about this "good cop, bad cop" strategy.

'They' seem to be doing a very good job of having us root, Root, ROOT! for a crippled & limited public option that won't provide real competition.

On the other hand, don't be fooled into thinking the nuts aren't really out there, or that their numbers are insignificant.

I think the ones who are fooled are those who think you can and should reach across the aisle to those sharks.
