Teachers show us pie charts, economists show us pie charts, bosses show us pie charts.

What is unique about pie charts & pies?

They are round, and all that there is, is confined within its circumference. There will never be more than 360 degrees of pie. There is a finite number of pieces of the pie.

Everyone with a big ole piece of the pie , scored into the crust, knows that when more people show up and want some pie, his slice will have to be pared down.

People understand pie, and they fear having their slice ending up as a sliver, as taste, and finally a sniff of pie, or being pushed out of the circle of pie altogether.

Some people see that there might actually be other "pies", or that they might not really "need" pie.


Selfish people who have grabbed themselves 3/4 of the pie, cannot bear the thought of having to share that pie, especially with people not like them, people who are not pie-worthy
