Mr. Obama’s problem is that nine out of 10 Americans would likely get worse health care if ObamaCare goes through. Of those who do not have insurance—and who therefore might be better off—approximately one-fifth are illegal aliens, nearly three-fifths make $50,000 or more a year and can afford insurance, and just under a third are probably eligible for Medicaid or other government programs already.

For the slice of the uninsured that is left—perhaps about 2% of all American citizens—Team Obama would dismantle the world’s greatest health-care system. That’s a losing proposition, which is why Mr. Obama is increasingly resorting to fear and misleading claims. It’s all the candidate of hope has left.

—Mr. Rove is the former senior adviser and deputy chief of staff to President George W. Bush.

Is inaccurate? Or, that he glosses over the fact that 17% of GDP goes to healthcare costs, more than any other country or that per capita healthcare costs are $7,000, which is again more than any other country?

He makes up facts and figures but then blames Obama for misleading people. Then telling the people that 90% will
get worse health care but then blames Obama for resorting to fear tactics

Most op-eds have some sort of accepted factual basis behind them. Rove invents his own, as typical. The only fear I see are crazy Republicans crying socialism and hypocritical dittoheads crying that that he'd better not mess with their Medicare.

Yes, people are generally "satisfied" with their coverage, but Obama is right that we can't continue to let the cost of it skyrocket into infinity. THAT is the issue.
