Is the "Public Option" a goner?
Ed Schultz is reporting that President Obama made no mention of the public option in his remarks today and is not scheduled to address it in the next townhall meeting.

Could they be leaning toward the co-op plan now?

1. Obama talked about it last night
So I assume there hasn't been a change in the last half day.

3. Reid killed it.
No vote until September gives the GOP and Blue Dogs enough time to insure the public option is dead.

5. The so-called "public option" in the House bill was a fake and a fraud

So not much has been lost.

6. CO-OP does not threaten Insurance Companies and will not do
much to lower prices. This is why the GOP supports it.

If Obama caves here, he will have a disaster on his hands.

Just as Nafta has ended up hurting the country, I hope
Obama does not want such a legacy on health care.
