MSNBC did a cell phone poll today.......
I am not sure how I got on the list but I think it was during the election when I voted on something via my cell. The question was:

How would you grade Obama's first six months.

I gave him a B.

The results were sent two hours later:

A. 56%
B. 29%
C. 6%
D. 4%
F. 5%

Not bad, even though MSNBC viewers are a little liberal I assume.

2. Gotta love Shuster......
..... just pointed out on Countdown tonight that the President's numbers are the same as they've always been and that perhaps the MSMs fixation with it today is a bunch of hooha.

3. I second that
Seriously, how many ways can you possibly interpret a 60% approval rating?

All of this media fuss about Obama's numbers slipping remind me of a graph someone did of how many points Obama was leading McCain nationally on average, and why we should ignore the "oh no McCain's latest attack is working, Obama is losing ground!". At first if you looked at it day to day it looked like a whole lot of movement. But then if you viewed it by week I think it was it was actually a fairly consistent line that was slowly going up a tiny bit, with the exception of right around the conventions when he had a couple point drop.
