I'm an African American, and I can name SEVERAL White males that I know who have high paying jobs in my field (Information Tech.) who can barely turn on a computer.

I know of person of Chinese descent who landed a high paying job in technology in Los Angeles, CA with only a high school degree. Now, he and I have the same experience, but I have an undergrad, an MBA, and I am a PMP. Do you think that company would hire me if all that I had was a high school degree?

He tried to say to Rachel "Come on, Rachel. You know she doesn't have what it takes....I'm sure there is a Democratic, intellectual feminist woman out there..." (LOL). But he has already stated multiple times that the fact that Obama's selection came down to the final four, all who happen to be female, proves that they ALL would have been "affirmative action". When (Andrea Mitchell I think?) said that maybe those female candidates were just the most qualified and THAT'S why they were the runner ups, Pat said no, the fact that a male white was not included proves it's discrimination. Ugh.

edit: Oh yeah, and Pat was assuming she was affirmative action before Sonia ever acknowledged that she benefitted from it. And he was acting as if it was some grand old admission, like "AHA! SEE! She admits that she was the reason that all those pooor white kids didn't get into school!", instead of what it was- a humble admission that she was given opportunities and made the most of them. But of course I'm not surprised, he says that Obama is a product of affirmative action all of the time too.

Even though I know that Pat is a little racist piece of shit, there's always a "JESUS, HE HAS NO SHAME" moment in all of his racist meltdowns, which happened for me tonight when he started going off about how the founding fathers were all white guys.
