What would your ideal health care system look like?

1. Canada, but with proper funding.

combined with the dental, prescription drug, eye and ear care that the Swiss get.

3. We need a program set up on the internets somewhere like we had with the electoral college

Someone needs to design it and we can all play around with it.
Okay,I am geek but for the right reasons. :)

4. I would copy and paste any national health care system

from any of the other countries with it. Be it Japan, Germany or France...etc

5. No HMOs

Places like NYC treats its citizens like HMOs. 75 dollars parking tickets will kill you like an HMO. I can't speak on plans for families, but if I could pay the same as I pay for my cable bill (99 dollars a month) I'd be satisfied. Other fees, I'd accept done a la carte.
