Right about now former VP Cheney is revising his estimation of Obama's IQ
Edited on Sun Jul-12-09 07:21 PM by denem
No, not because of the glacially slow drip drip drips, reminiscent of Obama's super delegate endorsements during the primaries, his insiders would (and obviously have) warned him about the trains leaving the station. No, rather because of the Administration's decision of the to strengthen Cheney's secret service protection. How many quiet words does it take from a former director of the CIA to solve a political inconvenience? Chicago knows politics, Dick.

1. We understood Cheney's secret service protection was
extended, not necessarily strengthened. And it was most likely extended because Cheney has made himself a target (because of his big mouth). Did we miss something here?

9. Need to make sure the scumbag lives so he can be prosecuted.
Or at the least reduce his reputation so he doesn't receive a good eulogy in the eyes of Americans when he dies.

12. And doesn't flee the country
The increased secret service might be part of an operation to really mess with him.

"Mr. Vice President, we are here to keep you safe. We are going to be within inches of you wherever you go, you can count on that. Nobody will so much as even think your name without us checking it out. Mr. Vice President. We have your back. Oh, and by the way, we have taken the liberty to remodel your underground bunker to make sure a full detail is with you at all times. Can I bring you a cup of Ovaltine before you retire for the evening, sir?"

2. Ramped up Secret Service protection. Hmmm. They report to the current president...
...I mean, while their primary mission is one of protection, nothing prevents them from observing and collecting information about the goings on with Cheney and his minions.

Right?

4. Ha! Good point NYC
And what is that neat squiggly looking worm or fish thing traveling across the bottom of your field.? The thing with a stinger. Looks a little terrifying, especially for someone wary of anything looking like a hornet.

11. Gee, don't we still have illegal snooping programs to do that?
And I think Dick was instrumental in bringing those programs about. Interesting indeed!
