Prediction: Palin to run as an Independent in 2012
The "Queen of the Deep South" will be to 2012 what George Wallace was to 1968.

1. I think her new job is to set the "Pro" "Life" sheep up for a bait-and-switch.
There is no reason to believe that that will not work again. They have shown no signs of figuring things out about how they are being used.

3. No way.
She wouldn't muster 5% nationally.

4. Nope. For one thing, she won't be able to
raise enough money to run for mayor of Wasilla again.

By 2012 people will be back to saying, "Sarah who?"

She is truly a lightweight. Maybe the only profound question to ask is, if she had not become the Republican VP pick last year, would she have still quit the governorship halfway through? Possibly not, as she would not have had the close media scrutiny that she's so unable to tolerate. She'd have been left alone to do lot more damage to Alaska than she already has.

I predict that she'll fade away because she's a useless twit whose base is about the size of the population of Alaska, and does not truly have a national presence. What happened to her last summer was a freakish thing and not at all reflective of any true leadership ability on her part.

12. yeah, just like Joe the Plumber has faded away. He has far
less appeal than Sarah and they still pay him to show up and bloviate. She has sex appeal with all the old white rethugs...they all get a boner everytime she winks at them. She'll still be a player come 2012. Not saying she'll win a nomination (we can't get that lucky) but she'll still be a player.

5. Prediction: She will be as valuable as her ability to endorse, and no more so
By then, I think the media will tear this idiot to shreds and most people will move onto better things.

She blames everyone else for her
take-down.

9. Why would she have to? Their base is in love with her. No way in hell Romney would beat her
in a primary.

14. wouldn't that be loverly
t'would guarantee a second Obama term pretty much no matter what he did. She would be better served running within the R party, though I hope even they would not be so crazy as to let her through the primaries.

16. I think it's too difficult to get on the ballot in enough states as an ind
Even if she had good grassroots movement, I don't think she could do it. I agree with others, if anything she'll be the Republican nominee.

20. I doubt she'd screw over the Republicans in that way
It would gurantee that Obama is re-elected if she does, because she'll drain votes from whoever gets the GOP nomination.

22. She doesn't care about Republicans
She's thrown most of the real Republicans in Alaska under the bus. Just ask Lyda Green.

21. I have never heard her blame the GOP for anything and that's the problem
with yoiuyr notion.

SHe hast the the maverick label well enough. ANs at some levels she is the ideal prototype...but I don't think that she can pull off anger witholut looking more fake than flake,
