When I get angry about people saying bad things about our President and when I don't
When someone calls Barack Obama a socialist, I get pissed because he isn't a socialist. In my dreams were he a socialist.

When someone expresses worry about the rising national debt, I don't get angry because that is a legitimate concern.

When someone says he wasn't born in the United States, I get pissed because it is a lie.

When someone says they don't agree with certain aspects of his foreign policy I don't get angry. We have different world views myself and the critic and I can't get angry over a legit differences in opinions.

When someone says something overtly or subliminally racist I get pissed, because well you should get pissed.

When someone says they don't feel he's pushing hard enough on a particular issue I don't because that is a legit concern.

When someone is complaining about stupid shit, like swatting flies, cheesburgers with mustard, or the lettuce he prefers on his salad I get pissed. This stuff doesn't matter.

When someone is worried about their rights or the rights of others...well how can I get angry about that. That is the most important thing to me as an American.

4. Quite frankly I don't think anyone could do any better than Obama!
After all this must be one of the most difficult periods for the USA. It's like maneuvering through a minefield

19. Time for others to step up
Edited on Sat Jun-27-09 09:29 PM by AllentownJake
I helped get him there. I have certifications to get and local candidates I like.

Time is a limited commodity and I view mine as valuable. He wanted the job, he got it.

23. What people are those and how would you know
what a DUer does or does not do? Seriously, that is a heavy statement. On the internet you know what people do and do not do in real life? How?

7. There's little point in spending much time on what people who never liked Obama in the first place..
say about him, since all they say is coming from a hater background.

15. I'm sorry
There are extremes on here.

1) He's perfect and does nothing wrong.

2) He's awful and does nothing right.

He's middle of the road. Somethings I like, somethings I scratch my head at, and somethings infuriate me.

He's better than the last king.

24. That is implied by the use of extreme emotion in response to
criticism. To you, all critics are 'haters' all criticism is 'hate'. An emotion. About a person. Accusations of hate thrown lightly about as if the word meant nothing, as if the world was not filled with real, bloody, deadly hatred.
What word to you use to describe murderous bigotry if hate means 'I do not agree'? They hyperbole speaks volumes. The lexicon is the description of the poster. Words mean things. To most of us.
