He said something to her like "Helen, that's not a question". I think he said I'll get back to you and he called on somebody else. He never did get back to her. I guess I don't blame him... Helen's been a little cranky lately.

After all the years of Bush treating the press like a bunch of idiots ("you are too stupid to understand why we'd invade Iraq so I won't even answer you), you'd think they could have a bit of humor about it. Obama DID answer the question (re: is a governmant option something you will insist on) the best way he's going to but Tapper wanted a gotcha. Then when Obama schooled him, he was soooo pissed.

He was pouting after that.

TPM has a reel of the best clips which is all I've had time for today. I'll watch the whole thing tonight.

I was thinking about those bush years with the white house press corp and how he treated them when he didn't like a question or couldn't answer it to save his life..if he even deigned to give them a presser.

And, the presstitutes just took it like a pack of lap dogs.

29. I think this really is part of the problem - the media has been

dumbed down (hard to believe, I know) and has a tough time comprehending the "old Professor" Obama. I really enjoy him and I have more respect for his grasp and intellect every time I see him.


Now if McCain/Palin had won......
