I do, or at least Conrad's version of it. It's possible to do co-ops right. Germany does. However, this measure clearly is a scam and should be called out as such.

That said, it reminds me of Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac, which were chartered by the government to help democratize the mortgage market. And for a while, it worked, but their relative independence from the government made them, ultimately, anaccountable, irresponsible and we wound up taking them over anyway.

So, perhaps a usable slogan:

Say No to Freddie Mac Healthcare.
Say No to Fannie Mae Healthcare.
