MSNBC: VP Biden announces that on Monday the President will announce "ramp up" on stimulus

Today's numbers on jobless claims (about 350,000) much lower than the 500,000 that was widely anticipated.

On Monday however the President will announce plans to "ramp up" stimulus spending so that more jobs can be created faster.

These guys don't slow down for anything.

5. I saw parts of it.
But I'm pretty much disgusted with this whole business. It seems as if we have to treat everything by walking on eggshells to keep from upsetting any of the corptocracy. Bail out the banks and mortgage companies that cause the problem in ways they are acceptable to the thieves. Bail out the auto companies in ways that are acceptable to the auto execs and stockholders. Reform healthcare coverage in ways that are acceptable to the health insurance companies. Reform the prescription drug situation in ways that are acceptable to the drug companies.

I'm pretty much tired of rewarding their thievery with more money. Around here the stimulations will be used to fill potholes and widen highways. Oh, and maybe some construction jobs.

How about we get back some of our industry? Maybe make train cars for highspeed transit at GM plants? Afterall, we own it.

Maybe we should quit f--king around while we still have some money.
