4. It's gotta be the press conference. Whenever he has a big event, it seems he gets a nice bump. nt

5. Well, last time he had a press conference his numbers went down in this poll...
Edited on Sat May-02-09 12:14 PM by jenmito
and people were claiming it was due to "over-exposure." And THIS time the media line seemed to be that his press conference was so BORING-and the viewership dropped by 10 million compared to the last one. I'm glad people made up their own minds.

9. Yup. I remember checking the poll after and NOT starting a thread because his numbers dropped.
I was really afraid he WAS being seen as over-exposed (with help from the media TELLING us that).

6. Yep
That's why the media complains about him being too visible. If I have to hear them continue bashing him for talking TOO MUCH to the American people ("Overexposed! Overexposed! Squawk! Overexposed!"), I'm going to scream. He does this to get past their filters. And so far, it seems to be working.

10. my grandmother
(she doesn't vote, but her Republican husband voted for Obama this year) was saying to me the other day "Did you see Obama's news conference? He is so....intelligent. And he thinks about what he is saying."

14. "Overexposed"?!?!? Are you kidding me?
He isn't Susan Boyle for chrissakes.

He's President during a one of the most tumultuous times in our history.

So, "overexposed?" Noooo. He's actually working his ass off day in and day out to clean up the Shrub's mess.

And he's out front, speaking to the American people about where things are going. Not hiding, like Shrubbie.
