So the president broke his vow to the American people by NOT torturing?

It's strange how twisted minds can view the world, isn't it?

Be sure to check out the comments below the Fox News article.

1. "Fox News Headline:"
:eyes:

If I was to water board or use some other kind of torture technique on Hannity, because I believed he was really a liberal in denial, he would say exactly what I wanted him to or confess to any allegation against him just to make the torture stop.

The same goes for all those held at Gitmo or any other facility who is being subjected to these human rights violations. They are all 'Allegedly', but never proven guilty of anything.

Its the same thing that happened with the Salem With Trials, all were accused and confessed to bogus allegations just to make the torture stop. Torture is ineffective and produces NO viable information other then what the interrogator wants them to say.

4. Really, the other party wants the pro-torture plank?
They can have it. I don't want it. But why do they?

7. Who wants to live in a country without values?
Most people I know do not want to trade their safety for their values. The founders were willing to lay down their lives for this country--can we do any less?

9. So Saddam Hussein was just a good guy trying to protect Iraqis.
Who the fuck ever thought Americans would be publicly debating, let alone supporting, TORTURE.

Torture, as American as apple pie!1!

Becuz its like these people are just waiting for it to happen. And they are going to jump all over him. He will need our support more than ever if it happens.

12. So now we have finally accepted the use of the word "torture?"
...instead of "enhance interrogation techniques" or other euphemisms?

I mean, if Fox has finally given up with the term-blurring game, then we can move on to investigations and prosecutions.

That's a step in the right direction...

13. It's called Doublethink! We don't torture and Obama betrayed us by stopping the torture we don't do.
