1. Makes me glad I shut off most of my cable.
My blood pressure does not spike as much reading this report as it does watching the actual program.

4. So don't watch the program. He is a pundit (entertainer), not God.
Use the remote, and change the channel.

3. I thought that's who you meant.
Just happened to come in for his incredible lovey-dovey talk. Palin, the one who has it, the way she walks, talks, carries herself. Sheesh! Tonight's frothy dribble was truly over the top :puke:

6. yeah
he started on with the "Palin is it, she has the charisma" stuff after the election. And EVERYTIME, he repeats his theory "they'll go to the right, the Republicans go to the right when they lose." It's all because of his little theory that he wants to prove everyone right with. But yeah, it's funny how he went from "She never knows what she's talking about" to "she knows EXACTLY what she's doing". Even Roger Simon, who popped a boner over Palin's debate skills, had a firmer grasp of reality than Tweety. But, it's tweety. He's not known for his consistency.

7. I didn't see it, but maybe Tweety is helping the Dems here by pumping up Palin
Then Palin wins the nomination and gets smashed by Obama in 2012.

Maybe Tweety is trying to help Obama in a subtle way :shrug:

8. Oh, no he was totally sincere.
:rofl: :rofl: That's what was so sickening. But your theory does have me wondering. I'm kind of agreeing with you but not the getting smashed part. I think Tweety's hopeful that she can be managed and transformed into a thinking person, if just given enough time. I don't think that he can accept that a woman he's got the hots for and who had such promise last summer, could just slip through Republican fingers because she really was capable of rallying them big time. He sees her "charisma" and is willing to help keep her from fading into obscurity, like a good lover would.

Lawmakers reject Ross as AG in historic vote
By SEAN COCKERHAM

JUNEAU - The Alaska Legislature voted 35 to 23 today to reject the confirmation of Wayne Anthony Ross, Gov. Sarah Palin's pick for attorney general.

<snip>

"I think he is too controversial for the state of Alaska. We've got in some people's mind a controversial governor and I think that he just has too many controversies out there," said House Speaker Mike Chenault, a Nikiski Republican.

Even Ross' opponents in the Legislature had said only a few days ago that he had enough support to be confirmed despite huge opposition from Native groups, his calling gays "degenerates" in the 1990s, and allegations that he made offensive comments about women. But a tipping point appeared to come this week when he gave what lawmakers called bad and politicized legal advice to Palin about a fight she's having with lawmakers over a state Senate appointment.

Palin said the legislators who voted no didn't make themselves look good by rejecting an attorney general who strongly supports the issues important to Alaskans - gun rights, constitutional rights and developing the state's resources.
