Are the Republican extremists engineering Obama's assassination?

The level of the hatred being spewed by the right wing propagandists is so virulent that I can't help from thinking they are hoping to incite someone to assassinate President Obama. The maliciousness of their propaganda reminds me of that used by the Nazis. It has gone beyond the divisive rhetoric of Cheney and his minions and borders on outright treason.

It appears that they would welcome a civil war and are in fact attempting to incite mob rule. I can not help from believing that unmitigated racism is the underlying impetus that drives them. It is certainly not their love of the Republic. They are consumed with a hatred that defies any rationality transforming them into raving lunatics who seize on the most trivial of things to incite them into a frenzy.
