President Obama's Numerous Nemeses currently in a Huddle Scratching their collective asses!
Edited on Sun Apr-12-09 10:41 PM by FrenchieCat
How to spin this Hostage stuff negatively against the President?
It will be hard to ignore since they promoted the Pirate story 24/7 for the last 5 days.
Well since they can't, they will talk about it on Monday, and then they will be moving on.

So the News Media (who is in on some of the meetings of the asses) will only cover this issue for one more day (Monday).

Starting on Tuesday, because Wednesday is the IRS deadline, they will be promoting the hell out of the Tea bagging parties for the Wednesday celebrations!

I don't just mean Fox news either! Watch and see.

Heck, they will go out of their way to trash our President, so that you don't have to! :patriot:
(Hear that, Anti Obama Folks? The media and the RW are on this!)

1. I'm bored....
... I think I'm gonna find articles from Friday and Saturday of those on the right declaring an official end to the Obama presidency IF he didn't handle the hostage crisis correctly.

One of the things I adore about Barack Obama is that he CONSTANTLY proves me right .... feeds my own ego. :)

7. This one is cute.....
"And worse, these skinny, underfed, unorganized and ill-equipped pirates are making a fool of what is ostensibly the most powerful man in the world. ... But isn’t that the worst part of it? While Obama idly sits at the picnic table watching his kids play in the White House yard the French Navy has acted. Here we have what is supposed to be the most powerful man in the world doing nothing while the French… THE FRENCH… use proper military force against these criminal pirates. ... Obama is being tested from the most unlikely of sources. He is failing that test"

http://canadafreepress.com/index.php/article/10151

24 Hours later, the pirates are dead and the fat fool who wrote that article is still a fat fool. :)

(why do all of these folks who make their livings off of criticizing the greatest President of our lifetimes all look like they dine of of nothing but Crisco and beer? He even calls out the pirates for being "skinny and underfed." How DARE they have the nerve to be from a famine-ridden third world country!)

2. I can't imagine how they can. Their best bet would be to just shutup and slink away.
This was a nice victory for the good guys, and I think it would be pretty hard for someone to find a way to spin it into something else.

6. They wanted it to end in disaster and then try to lame the blame at Obama's feet
Too bad for them it ended up with a good result and most importantly the captain is on his way home to his family, alive and well.

8. Scratching their asses, but they think they're scratching their heads.
If this had ended in disaster, it would have been all Obama's fault.

If the French had rescued the captain, Obama would have completely humiliated the United States by appearing weak.

Now that Obama has handled the situation perfectly (as the AP stated, "Obama passes first national security test"), they will spend their time saying that Obama really didn't have anything to do with it at all.

Scratching their asses, but they think they're scratching their heads.
