Rep. Paul Ryan, leader of Republican Party?
I ask this because I subjected myself to stupidity this morning when I sat through Morning Schmoe with Stepford Wife Mika Mouse. As I was watching, I noticed something...any time Schmoe wanted to defend the Republican Party on some level and give them some sort of integrity and depth he would mention Paul Ryan. Rep. Paul Ryan has a vision and a clear understanding, Paul Ryan is making moves to get the Conservative voice heard and on and on it went.

At this point, when Cantor became an Epic Fail and Jindal (Sir Exorcist) became an Epic Disaster of innumerable proportions...are we seeing people pushing for Rep. Paul Ryan?! I might be the only one who picked up on this...but I have the distinct feeling this is going to pick up clout. Palin is a joke who's still railing against the liberal media. Steele is striking the fear of God in the hearts of Repukes every time he opens his mouth. And people like Newt Gingrich are talked about as though they are the proponents of the best ideas of Conservatism . And you have people going as far as to request Pat Buchanan to run again as a Repub <---Terrifying.

Some of the few seem to be pushing this unknown onto the platform. I didn't even hear about the guy until yesterday and then today on Morning Schmoe they dropped his name like it was the World of the Day. Anybody got the feeling we'll be seeing a lot more of Rep. Paul Ryan a Repub of Wisconsin on television.

For those who don't know him...

1. He 'owns' their new budget, whether he likes it or not.

And considering he didn't sign the one released yesterday, I think he can't be much of a happy camper today.
