No idea is a good idea on this financial crisis
They are all bad ideas. Every idea is filled with consequences, unintended and intended that are just awful. No matter what alot of the people who caused this mess are going to get away with it and alot of people who did the right thing all their lives are going to be ruined.

There is no silver bullet or great magical solution. The thing President Obama and the Treasury department are trying to figure out is which idea is the least bad idea and will get us through this. I pray they get it right, however no matter what since there are nothing but bad solutions they are going to take a lot of flack for the unintended consequences.

30 years of bad economic policy have caught up with us. You don't get out of 30 years of bad behavior overnight and without pain.

The only good news I have is since we produce so much food in this country, people probably aren't going to starve.

1. It would help if we would stop running around the world; insisting everyone wants to be us.
The imperial mind-set is devastating to our nation on so many levels.

2. Yes, it reminds me of the history of three outher countries
I'm hoping we have the soft landing of Brittain on those ideas not the hard landing of 1930s Germany and 18th century France.
