Did you all watch Saturday Night Live last night? "The Rock Obama" Sketch is hilarious. Why in the world is this so funny?

1. I tried to watch SNL,

but how many gazillion times am I supposed to sit through "Magruber?" It wasn't funny the first time, and we are up to, what, version number 42 by now? And the same could be said for nearly every other sketch they do.

Note to Lorne Michaels: HIRE SOME FUCKING WRITERS!

9. I agree, that guy that plays him doesn't come close to capturing Obama's charisma,

his characterization is far too glum, I can't recall in any sketch seeing him smile.

It's a very poor Obama he does. I think the only thing he is going for is the vocal cadence and timbre, but he evens misses that. It's clear he doesn't capture the upbeat and resilient personality.
