Didn't the report say American Movie Classics?

Edited to add something I think is really funny: Rush Limbaugh's "Doubled Ratings" a Big Fat Lie

3. Actually,
I've been laughing all night. This just seems like an excuse to continue this lame story.

5. Here ya go...AFI put the package together
I don't see why they have their panties in a wad...it was a box set of American classics from AFI not some 99 cent B films from WalMart. List is at the link. Something for all different ages ( probably as in for adults in the Brown family and some for any kids/grandkids, etc..). What is wrong with sharing some of America's film history/culture?

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/worldnews/article-1159627/To-special-friend-Gordon-25-DVDs-Obama-gives-Brown-set-classic-movies-Lets-hope-likes-Wizard-Oz.html

Downing Street yesterday refused to state which movies were in the box set.
But the Mail has learned it included classics such as Star Wars, The Godfather and Citizen Kane and was produced by the American Film Institute as a 'special request' for the White House last month.

7. "produced by the American Film Institute as a 'special request' for the White House last month."
Damn facts.

Appears a few people here agree with the RW that sharing America's film history/culture is a crappy, tacky and tasteless idea.

9. They're Repubs...supporting America gives them indigestion.
That's why they want to see Obama to fail...ie the US then fails.
