3. I have to say I am impressed.
This coming from someone who doesn't toss compliments easily for all of Obama's moves.

But, so far Obama is doing well on this issue. Can you imaging the fierce oppositon he is facing from the industry lobbyists. Those guys must be beyond peeing in their pants.

Well let's see if a real change can actually happen. So far so good.

4. .gov issue oriented web sites
The entire .gov domain is almost entirely organizational.

An issue oriented .gov site is rare and cuts across organizational lines. A dedicated issue oriented web site is much better than a sub-page at whitehouse.gov

http://www.recovery.gov/ is also a dedicated .gov site. I hope we see more of these issue oriented .gov web sites.

If there is not one already, I would also hope that there is a single .gov website that serves as an index to all available .gov issue oriented sites.

Perhaps there are more than the http://www.recovery.gov/ and the http://www.healthreform.gov/index.html dedicated issue sites

It will not be long before either President Obama will say to a reporter : Go to my web site: Healthreform.gov

It will become very useful in killing unsupported attacks, rumors, etc as well as educating the public.
