Kerry Nails His Message To Post-Vietnam Critics
Wading back into the dispute over his antiwar protests after serving in Vietnam, Kerry showed no signs of offering the apology his critics are seeking for comments he made about war crimes and atrocities more than three decades ago.

"Look, I went, I did my duty, I came back, I saw what I saw, and I told the truth. If some people have trouble with that still, I am sorry about it."

2. What an awsome picture.
Look at Kerry studying Nixon...and on a beanbag chair and in jeans no less!

There's a real microcosm of the era in that photograph.

5. Forgery! Jeans weren't invented until 1975! If you look closer I think
those are corduroys, and corduroy begins with 'c', that same letter communist begins with!

Seriously though, that's an awesome pic, you're right that captures the era perfectly. The jeans industry has been trying to capture that look/image in the pages of fashion mags for years. Pick up any GQ and you'll see an attempt at simulating what that pictures says in a hundred different ways and none of em come close to the Real Deal.

7. That Needs To Be His New Mantra
No more paragraphs. He can't be a novelist anymore, he has to be a poet.
