Anyone else feel like you were just patronized?
Edited on Tue Feb-24-09 10:44 PM by Hellataz
Listening To Jindal made me feel like I was a 5th grader being talked down to by some infomercial speaking, sleazy car salesman douchebag. That was the most disingenuous poorly read canned rhetoric speech I have ever heard!

He totally harshed on my Obama Buzz!

9. Shatner can deliver a speech 1000 time better and that's not saying a lot.

6. Jindal was phrasing, not speaking..
based on his enunciation, it was like sound bites from different speeches chopped up and mashed back together.

10. Jindal talking about Katrina reminded me of an old FDR story:
It was during the 1944 presidential campaign, and some Republican had made some ridiculous comment along the lines that FDR's wartime economic policies were about to lead us into another Great Depression. I can't recall FDR's exact reply, but it went something like this:

"Now, there is a rather lugubrious old adage that says that one should never utter the word 'rope' in the home of a hanged man. And so it seems to me, if I were a Republican, the very last word I would want to use in a mixed crowd is that word 'Depression.'"

Listening to Jindal, I could just hear dear Franklin, smiling ear to ear, purring, "It seems to me, if I were a Republican today, especially a Republican from Louisiana, the very last word I'd want to use in front of a national audience is that word 'Katrina.'"

All told, that was the worst speech since Bob Dole delivered the GOP response to Clinton in '96.

LMFAO!
