Presidential Address Tuesday evening. Wow, two in a month

1. Yes but this is the BIG one........

.... where everyone gets all gussied up and heads down to Capitol Hill (except for the designated Cabinet member, whom I'm guessing WONT be the Commerce Secy. lol)

I'm all giddy about it ..... cant wait for them to say, "MADAME SPEAKER! THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES!!!!" and the house will erupt (it does anyway, but now Dr. Popular will be the one strolling down the aisle shaking hands!) The building will shake to its foundations.

He'll then ascend to the podium, as Michelle looks down on him with pride from the balconey. Behind him will be a DEMOCRAT Speaker of the House and a DEMOCRAT Majority Leader! SUPERFUN!!!!

And then there's the obligatory applause which he will no doubt get from the left side of the aisle ....up and down up and down, like they're school kids singing that "There was a wise old king" song. But being Obama, he'll put in enough "THIS COUNTRY IS AWESOME!!!!" that the GOP will have a reason to stand up and cheer for him too. Yes .... even that Cantor dude.

It will be Barack Obama doing what Barack Obama does best .... standing in front of a crowd and giving a talk with lots of opportunity for rhetorical flourishes.

It will be a sight to behold and something we will doubtfully never forget.

Yep .... I've asked off from work for it! lol

10. I really think this will be THE MOMENT for me

It's getting better and better, but the trauma of the last 8 years was hard to shake.

The inauguration, the first presser, seeing him and Michelle and the kids climb on Marine One, all of these moments/images is helping to erase all of that.

And I think when I see this, when I hear the sargeant-at-arms shout that out, when I see Michelle in the gallery, and finally see Obama officially address Congress......I think that's going to be MY MOMENT when the far reaches of my subconscience can finally let go and embrace that the long nightmare is finally over!!
