I just saw our CBC lead anchorman interview Obama. Obama is so well
informed and intelligent. This is great. This is really great. Is it really happening? Pinch me! The USA has a really brilliant president again. And he's a good guy.

11. Thanks, Clio..yes it's awesome!
I watch Peter Mansbridge on CBC sometimes..the media seem to care about their reputations in Canada.

No dumbing down anything. Simply beautiful.

8. He's a good guy that is continuing Bush's secrecy procedures and won't force Rove to testify.
That's NOT good. I won't mention his support of FISA right now.

12. Why can't our news guys be like that?
We have such self important assholes in our media. I don't know who the interviewer was, but he was a breath of fresh air compared to our homegrown idiots.

pile of shit, he's kicking butt. He's done a lot in these last 3 weeks and I'm glad most people across the country and world realize it!

Why can Canada produce intelligent news people, while we produce people who act like 15 year old idiots?

18. And I'm sure he enjoyed being interviewed by a real, professional journalist!
I love CBC but don't get to see that often. Last time, I think it was the 2004 election and saw some stuff on C-SPAN.

The best they got is Mitt, Huckabee, Palin, and Joe the Plumber.... Too far down the food chain....not ready for prime time when compared to the Obama Guy

22. Good interview, but the anchorman said "aboot" within 3 seconds
of starting the interview. That made me laugh. Ha...people in a different country talk differently. Haha.

23. Wow. I kept picturing Bush doing this interview . . .
and was relieved that our country is no longer represented by a buffoon. I learned more about Obama's stand on world trade, the environment and Afghanistan than I have from any U.S. press conference or interview with U.S. "reporters" and their constant pursuit of political trivia.
