to take a gander!

Thanks again for the link.

Edited to add:

Wow, just read their Mission statement and this:

"OUR INTEGRITY

At Namaste Solar, we’re proud to say that we live with the technology we sell and that we lead ecologically conscious lifestyles. From xeriscaped yards to bicycle commutes, we continuously strive to “walk our talk” and set a positive example for our community, both locally and globally.

Our main office building in North Boulder is 100% solar-powered and is LEED Gold certified. All of our office furniture is either second-hand or made from recycled materials. We use carpet tiles for our flooring that allows us to replace only those tiles that are worn instead of replacing the whole carpet, thereby reducing the amount of carpet waste that gets sent to landfills. We commute and conduct business on bicycles wherever possible, but when we have to drive, we use our Prius hybrids or biodiesel installation vans.

We are very proud that Namaste Solar won the Eco-Cycle 2006 Outstanding Recycling Program Award in the small business category for diverting as much material as possible from landfills into recycling. In addition to composting our kitchen waste, we recycle comingled waste, office paper, cardboard, plastic bags, shrink wrap, block foam, computers, office equipment, scrap metal, scrap wood, and pallets. As new markets become available, we will divert more material until we reach our zero waste goal! We're very excited about our green lifestyles both at home and at the office and we invite you to come visit us at any time!!!"

I am beyond impressed now, I ferverently hope this wonderful model of what a Corporation should be goes far! President Obama and Vice President Biden sure did their part to showcase them and rightly so!

51. I always wonder if he thinks about the story......
.... of when Lincoln went to sign the Emancipation Proclamation ... just as he was about to sign, he stopped and put the pen down. Those around him thought this was a sign of reluctance. But just then, he began to message his writing hand. "I've been shaking hands all night and my hand is sore .... I now the importance of this signature and people will interpret how it is written."

After restoring the feeling in his hand, he picked it up and signed it uncharacteristically "Abraham Lincoln."

Seems Barack Obama was not the first President to appreciate the importance of symbolism.
