2. Yes, "alibi" is 100 times more effective than "excuse"
These campaign people have a piss-poor ear. Sorry, but they do.

When he was in OH, he blamed Clinton for "loosing" 200K manufacturing jobs towards the end of his presidency. In the meantime, * has lost like 2.3MM

8. Simple and concise! I love it!!!
:kick:

This is what the Repugs do. They make up a simple, short, yet very effective "point" against us and drill it into the public's perceptions. All Duer's must drive this point to everyone they meet.

Stick Bush with the label, "Excuse President".

10. I think it is a good idea
This president acts like the past four years of failure, job loss and Iraq mess was not his fault. It is always, something or someone else's fault.

I think it can be tied to Ken Lay and others who over saw failures, got rich and blame others. Ken Lay and Bush are cut from the same cloth.

I love lines like this. It paints Bush as dogmatic and unwavering in light of new information. True Lemming Logic.

16. It's excellent -- takes a direct jab at the GOP platform of
"Personal Responsibility" -- how can true conservatives support a President who is slapping one of their primary objectives in the face?

I like the "excuse president" theme, I believe the Kerry/Edwards campaign should drill this theme home till Nov 2nd.

Now every Democrat has to pick this up and repeat it until November. Make it seep into the body politic by constant repetition.

Kerry can use this with devastating effect in the debates when Bush* starts whining about all the bad things that others did to him.

25. Love it, but Kerry MUST always use it over and over and over....
...it MUST stick. Bush offers excuses for everything. If Kerry keeps hammering away, this will stick and remind people why they don't like Bush.
