Ok Obama ya tried.. Now just save the country....
You tried to be nice.. soo FINE!! Lets just do what Bill CLinton did in 1993.. pass the bills we need.. save the country than the democrats can take all the credit.. I HATE these same arguments

If we cut taxes more than we will raise more revenue.. Oh really.. than just cut the taxes to 0!! Think how much business THAT will generate.. I can hear them sputter now.. Uh well ya can't go to 0.. Uh why not?? Well the government needs SOME money.. Oh ya mean we need balance?? Uh yea.. well I got news for those idiots.. we had that until 2001. We WERE generating a surplus.. than the taxes were cut!!.. So no way the same people who got THOSE taxes cuts need more!!!

Cut the lower and middle classes taxes.. but but but they do not pay any taxes I hear them say.. BS.. they pay SS and medicare taxes!! and those are thrown right in to the same pool of treasury taxes as income taxes.. ( remember no lock box anymore).. So I do NOT want to hear that BS any more either.. From 2001-2009 they wrecked this country.. Now we just need Obama and the democrats in the congress to forget about the republicans.. IGNORE them and the right wing spin machine.. get to work.. save the country and let those pukes wither and die in there own bile!

1. Don't you think that was the plan all along
These guys called him everything from a commie to a terrorist...do you really think he ever thought they were going to sit down and play nice with him because he won? I doubt he'd be in the office he's sitting in if he really was that naive.

3. I don't think Obama is Naive about the enemy we face
He was in the Senate and he ran for President...there are individuals he can work on, on certain issues where he has agreement but as a group he knows who they are.

5. Obama is a very shrewd politician. And Axelrod is a brilliant strategist.
Don't think for one second they weren't planning for this

7. That may be true. But the stagecraft will not be lost on Americans..
Obama wants to "change" the way things are done in DC while the repukes want to continue to play partisan games. You miss the subtle tweaks Obama gives the repukes every time he states that the policies of the past have failed. Who do you think he's referring to??? On this issue, you can trust Obama. He knows what he is doing. He will continue to meet with them on Capital Hill, expecting their unanimous rebuke. Who does that hurt in the long run?

4. I think Obama played the GOP
And he did it very well. Now it is quite obvious to the American people the republicans are a bunch of assholes in Washington for one reason. Aid to the rich!

8. well after yesterday's vote it demonstrates to all of us that the
repigs just do not give a crap about us or the country and the crisis it faces. Geez, they have very short memories they are the ones who got us into this mess. Now McConnell wants to distance himself away from GWB. Give me a break please.
