1. Deep breath .... it really is OVER! I just had the weirdest initial reaction

to these pictures.

I was like, "Why is Biden swearing in a new Senator?" for just a millisecond.

Well, it's because he's Vice President!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess it's still sinking in for me. Thank god those 8 horrible years are over!

3. Yes, it takes a while to adjust. Even still whenever I hear President I think Bush, when I hear

First Lady I think Laura, when I hear VP I think Cheney and when I hear Secretary of State I think Condi. I don't think my brain has finished processing the fact that those incompetent fools are really gone.

4. I usually don't get all crazy about babies, but Gillibrand's son

is beyond adorable. I just love his cute little face!

6. I find it bittersweet.

I liked Hillary being senator from NY and coming here on weekends. Now we won't see her as often nor will she have her office in the city. Though, like she said to us the other week, Chelsea lives here and Bill still has his office in Harlem (aside from their home in Chappaqua). Oh well.........
